Documents, Notes, and Highlights

Open or fetch the PDF, attach documents, and manage notes and highlights for a paper.

The Docs tab holds the paper files plus your notes and highlights.

Files

Open the cached PDF, or use Fetch PDF to try to download one automatically. An Open Access Link appears when a PDF is available online but not cached locally.
Add Doc attaches files (drag and drop, or browse) - PDFs, EPUBs, Word files, and more. Right-click an attachment to Show in Finder, Rename, or Delete.

Notes

Add Note opens a floating rich-text editor. Click any note card to edit it again, or use its menu to delete it.

Highlights

Highlights you make while reading in the PDF viewer appear here automatically, each showing the quoted text, its page, and its color. Highlights are read-only in the sidebar - create them in the PDF viewer.
