Connect DeepSeek chat and reasoning models to Sciwand. Pay-as-you-go, no subscription.

DeepSeek offers low-cost, capable chat and reasoning models.

No subscription needed. DeepSeek API access is pay-as-you-go and very inexpensive.

Step 1 - at DeepSeek

  1. Sign in at platform.deepseek.com.
  2. Go to API keys, create a key, and copy it.
  3. Top up a small balance under Billing before use.

Step 2 - in Sciwand

  1. Open Settings -> AI Models, then click Manage (or Add Model) to open Configure Models.
  2. Select DeepSeek, then click Configure.
  3. Paste the key into API Key and click Save Changes.
  4. Tick models such as DeepSeek Chat or DeepSeek Reasoner.
