Together Embeddings

Use Together AI open embedding models for semantic search in Sciwand.

Together AI hosts open embedding models.

No subscription needed. Pay-as-you-go, usually with some free trial credit to start.

Step 1 - at Together

  1. Sign in at together.ai and create a key at API keys.
  2. Use the free trial credit or add a payment method.

Step 2 - in Sciwand

  1. Open Settings -> Embeddings, turn on Text Embeddings, then click Select (or Change) to open the model picker.
  2. Select Together, click Configure, paste your key, and click Save Changes. A Together key from the AI Models tab is reused.
  3. Choose an embedding model from the list.
  4. Click Generate All to index your library.
